The perfect description of online business is slow sometimes at a crawling rate and cut throat. In a world where you have up to millions in competition remember a couple of things. First it is a fight and you must be willing to sack a website taking the webmasters place in Google as well as food out of their mouth. Second time (or a ton of money) is what you will need to take over anyone the SERPs. This is the way it is and has always been. You must be willing to put in your time. Remember there are clicks everywhere I have many webmasters which work with me and I with them so we all can beat out our competition. I probably don't connect and interact as much as I should spending most of my time marketing my own presences, but I know if I ever need help I have people willing to help me.
Another important point is the people who know the most about being a webmaster usually spend time in forums. Digital Point I have found are mostly newer webmasters with a few old timers. The best place where I spend most of my time is the V7N Forums. These were the forums which I started learning the basics and where I spend my time now discussing the newer online marketing strategies. A great place to really work on your online skills. Now if your new to marketing the biggest challenge is where you can get links without running into spam farms and other poor places online. I found The Free Traffic System to be the best place. You write one article and is submits it to thirty blogs within your niche who want/need fresh new content and are willing to give you two links within your article for the content. Anyway give it a shot for me it has given first page rankings in Google and I continue to do well because of this system.
The last topic I would like to discuss is what it means to be cut throat online. What I mean by this is doing anything in your power to be first. There is a great blogger who I really respect who reached the top of Google for very powerful keyterms. He was a master at creating truly complex linking schemes and reaped the rewards of being first for quite a while. He held the top spots for a few years, but Google caught him and sunk him deep within the SERPs. He worked out what he could and could not do with Google and was able to restore his blog to the top. Anyway all of his tactics are in the grey hat area where ya they may not be the whitest ways to get links, but the amount of incoming links push him high enough in the serps to really reap the rewards Google has to offer.
In my experience being online if you stay completely white hat not ever straying then more than likely you will be beat out by those willing to do whatever it takes. You spend an hour writing an article and take the next few hours submitting it to article directory after article directory. I submit an article and it spreads across thirty diffrent blogs I get two backlinks which are keyword anchored on every blog you are lucky to be able to put a link in your resource box. Who will be on top? I will and that is the way I like it. I am the one getting the rewards and I am the one anchored at the top of Google.
Anyway if you came to this blog looking for ways to make money online rather than just concepts try my website How To Make Money Online there is lots of great programs. The best way to make money with these programs is not to actually do the surveys or read the emails, but to refer people to the website and get paid for what the people you refer do.

Well after some time thinking about it I had a couple of thoughts which I am going to share with you. The first being clutter is bad. As I got better and learned more about building websites and online business I found I loved adding things even if they did not work with my number one goal of making money. This was the biggest prompt that made me change my website. I also think that it has a more professional look and feel to it. Anyway would one of you guys look at it then tell me what you think in a comment I would really appreciate it. Here is a link to my site: How To Make Money Online.

Making Money With A Website or Blog
One of the biggest questions I get from those new to the world of online money is whether a person should start with a website or a blog. Both of these have a great income potential and are very different on what they need to stay functioning. I have found it easy both with a website and a blog to reach the top of Google though through different ways. I usually tell people it comes down to three important aspects the first being how much experience and knowledge they have of online business, second how much time are they willing to spend on their online endeavors, and finally how much if any money they are willing to spend on marketing.
Lets first discuss the experience and how it plays in when trying to pick between a blog and a website. The main difference between a blog and a website is the automation which a blog allows. It took me a solid year before being able to write html, css, and other online codes fluently and will probably take you around the same time before you are able to write code and build a website. With a blog you only need to set up a url, put a title to your post, and write a few paragraphs then hit publish and you have your online presence up and running. Now with a blog you lack quite a bit of control over how your blog is displayed until you gain a grasp over the web language, but it is very easy to set a blog up and being your online presence.
The second aspect is time and is the most crucial of all the steps. Both a website and a blog take an immense amount of time and work before you will see a pay off. From my experience a blog takes about twice as much time compared with a website. This is because you will need to write regularly rather than being able to build it then spend 100% of time on marketing. So if you are going to be hard up for time you should probably take the time to learn HTML basics and build a website. It may be more static, but the income generated will not suffer.
If you don’t have time or experience and are not wanting to give much time then money will be able to compensate. There are many different programs out there such as Microsoft front page and adobe dreamweaver which will allow you to without any experience build and upload a website or page to the web. You can also buy links or spend your money on PPC. Personally I cannot give good advice on where to spend your money since everything thus far online I have done free and plan on continually generating income without spending a dime.

Pick A Good Affiliate Program
While surfing I notice one big mistake many diffrent webmasters make is trying to sale every affiliate program under the sun instead of picking an affiliate program which is closely related to their niche and working it hard. Now no matter what you pick there will be a lot of work with it, but there is quite a bit you can do to make more and more money with any affiliate program you choose.
The first thing that you should do is truely beleive in your affiliate program. The reason I have no problems selling the programs on the right side of this blog is they sale themselves and I have 100% faith in all three of them. Each and everyone has paid me cash money helping me cover quite a few bills. Cash crate bought me a
32" flat screen:) Hits 4 pay covers my car insurance each and every month. That is why I work online is to get paid and these programs helped me. Now the problem is you should not be using these programs unless you are in the business or make money niche. If for example you are in the e-marketing a better program then cash crate or hits 4 pay would be free traffic system which pays in both cash and backlinks depending on what your referrals do.
Now one last point I would like to discuss is you should not be pushing a program unless first you have already been paid or have proof that they do pay and you should not be pushing programs in the wrong niche. If you have a web presence about running then selling fish bowls on that presence does not make a lot of sense. Now if you have a presence about keeping fish selling fish bowls would be the correct thing to do. Personally I associate the make money and internet marketing niche closely enough to push the programs across the niche border. I have marketing tools on this blog and make money tools on my internet marketing blog. Anyway if you interested in making money online or need some programs I have plenty listed on my website how to make money online.

I Work Hard and Need Games To Relax
Well I have spent a lot of time and in fact the majority of my free time goes to working online. Now when working online it is important to take breaks relax and think. Now once you get the hang of working online and what internet marketing is you understand that it is very boring usually and takes quite a bit of time. Well while working online I have found a game that I can work on at the same time. What I have found that is really cool with this game is I can keep working and working I do a job or build a building and it takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours to build or do the job. Anyway I highly recommend the game to anyone that is looking to break up the repetition of marketing online. The game is called Evony it is a free game and quite fun. Let me know what you guys think of it:)
Place a New Business On A Squidoo Lense
This comes after my latest squidoo lense at Get Free Backlinks. I have been working with the system I share on the lense for quite some time, but have not really worked with the affiliate program to much. The system is the reason my website How To Make Money Online is on the front page of Google for hundreds of keyword/terms. I decided to take the program one step further and start building one way links with the affiliate program. While thinking about what I wanted to do with the system I came across Squidoo.
While setting my page up with pics, text, and movies I realised that anyone could do it. So you need money or you want money that is a good start since that should give you the motivation. Go to squidoo.com and build a lense. This lense will be practise and you can name it your name if you would like. Put your hobbies and all about yourself. If you have a youtube video or pic make sure to add it. Then publish and take a look and see how you did.
Once you get the hang of squidoo the next step is to build a squidoo lense marketing an affiliate program. If your new to affiliate programs I have three big banners on the left side of this blog anyone would be great for those starting out. After you sign up take a few minutes to look around the program figure out how it works where the money comes from then write your lense telling people how to make money from the program and why they should sign up. One you do this you should begin marketing and since this is a business blog if you want to learn marketing I run a marketing blog at Website Marketing. I hope you enjoyed the post be sure to sign up and become a reader.

How To Make Money Free
One of the hardest things to do online these days is to make money free. This is what I set out to do and have done quite well though I have noticed it is a constant struggle to hold a top position within Google for an extended period of time. First off you must have it set in your mind that you will not spend a dime no matter what for marketing or anything in your online business. There will be offer after offer where people will tell you that if you spend money using their system it will help your position out greatly I highly recommend you turn these offers down and find other ways to market or make money online. The first thing you should do is pick a niche which you are extremely passionate about. The other thing about picking a niche is you should be using the Google adwords tool to make sure there is enough traffic to pay off your marketing and business efforts.
Once you have a niche chosen it is time to create your presence and to do this there are a couple free options. You can start a website W3 Schools is a great place to learn about the diffrent codes you need to know such as HTML. Then find a free host and use the free ftp File Zilla to upload your website onto your host. Usually when using a free host they will give you a free URL. If you would like to see the free website which I created visit make money free online. Every part of this website I created for free. The second place to go if you prefer not to learn about the diffrent codes you can go to blogger.com. I have found blogger blogs very easy to set up and get going if you want a web presence easy and quick.
The next thing you should be thinking about is your marketing plan. If you are getting no visitors this will be a problem if you want to make money. Remember visitors is the currency of the web and without them the web presences you have are pretty much worthless. If you would like to learn about the diffrent types of marketing visit my marketing blog at Internet Marketing to learn about internet marketing. Some of the basic aspects are to build quality backlinks and have your web presence properly SEO'd.
The last part of making money online is to pick good programs. These are not hard to find, but free programs that will not scam you out of your money are a little more difficult. All you need to do is search google for "make money free" and they will list a bunch of websites (including mine) which will help you make money online free. Once you have a solid lists of programs which look good do a few searches to find reviews on the programs. People will be quick to share their experiance with certain programs so take the time to look through Google and find whatever program you are thinking about joining. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this article.
